For companies to succeed in the future, they will have to align their values of data with those of the customer including migrating to “contextual privacy.”

(Jay) Rockefeller IV (D-WV) and Edward Markey (D-MA), the data brokerage industry generates more than $150 billion a year on the credit, public, derived and inferred data it aggregates about consumers.
