The team is focused on targeted one-to-one messages that are relevant to our customers. As personalization in data is growing, the team is actively managing the data integrity and the data infrastructure, along with other technology enhancements to drive the one-to-one communications. This team partners with key business functions to identify the right customers to receive NordstromRack.com / HauteLook marketing content and then deploys this content through the appropriate channels. As technology and data in this space is rapidly evolving, the team’s tactics and operating structure are in a state of transformation.We are seeking a dynamic and energetic leader with a strong background in leading organizational change and customer data analytics. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, passion for data, a big-picture vision for the future of marketing execution, and the drive to make that vision a reality. This role involves close collaboration with all marketing groups, business partners, product management, and marketing analytics professionals at all levels within the organization.

A day in the life…

  • Manage data integrity around missing data, severely overstated data, accounting for campaign sends that did not exist specifically around the data warehouseTables.
  • Support needed Acquisition, Retentions, Web, & POS platforms to drive connection within CRM data and tracking capabilities to increase omni-channel marketing.
  • Manage IPs, Data Extensions, Google Analytics and all Salesforce Technology. Managing customer scoring/ attributes around the needs of the business.
  • Manage consistency around the inputs and outputs of data within data warehouse to maintain standardization within all tables and their connections with IT, APIs, and all vendor tables/feeds.
  • Manage data architecture with JWN and NRHL for cross functional strategy with Data Services, IT, and Privacy
  • Serve as a liaison to both internal and external systems and is the manager for various new development or marketing technology initiatives and connections between platforms.
  • Manage all prospecting and lead databases and will be responsible for digital advertising for a variety of online and offline marketing initiatives.
  • Build organizational consensus around the future of an automated marketing execution engine, evangelizing the vision for and value in an automated approach
  • Craft and execute an organizational transformation plan, leading the team in a rapid transition from manual audience segmentation and execution methodologies to a fully automated marketing execution engine
  • Identify KPIs that align to business goals, and leverage KPIs to drive and measure team performance
  • Establish clear, repeatable, and scalable operating processes that enable the team to function efficiently and transparently
  • Build organizational consensus around the future of an automated marketing execution engine, evangelizing the vision for and value in an automated approach
  • Craft and execute an organizational transformation plan, leading the team in a rapid transition from manual audience segmentation and execution methodologies to a fully automated marketing execution engine
  • Identify KPIs that align to business goals, and leverage KPIs to drive and measure team performance
  • Establish clear, repeatable, and scalable operating processes that enable the team to function efficiently and transparently
  • Serve as the primary DMP representative on the programmatic virtual team, facilitating the alignment of digital marketing campaigns across the DMP, DSP, and DCO teams
  • Develop strong partnerships with marketing analytics, product management, and the brand, acquisition, and retention teams to ensure alignment of strategies and tactics
  • Partnering with technology on all business requirements, backlog prioritization, and roadmap formation for the tool (in conjunction with product management)
  • Own and drive a strategic partnership with the all vendor teams to fully integrate the CRM roadmap for the year

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, technology, or related field required; MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years leading teams
  • Experience leading teams through organizational transformations and strong coaching capabilities
  • Proven experience mentoring and growing teams in times of rapid change and ambiguity
  • Aptitude for leading the way through organizational transformation, including strong coaching skills as roles change
  • Ability to think creatively about solving business problems leveraging complex data sets
  • Expertise in defining scalable, transparent operating models
  • Familiarity with programmatic marketing principles and associated technology
  • Experienced business owner of technology solutions, with the ability to co-create roadmaps, user stories, and change management plans
  • Strong project management skills to keep a deep book of work on track to meet key deadlines
  • Possess strong analytical skills, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, quickly shift between competing and sometimes conflicting priorities in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
